“River of Hope” (RoH) is a non-profit organization inspired by the work of Dr. Nathaniel Doron; a UN diplomat who during his career with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), supported developing countries in Africa and Asia to become more sustainable in the areas of agriculture, health and education.

Based on the ground work of Dr Doron, “River of Hope” aims to:

  • “Help others to help themselves” while understanding that Individual communities have different requirements to remain self sufficient and sustainable.
  • Initiate and support projects worldwide to provide the appropriate tools to assist willing communities to fulfil their needs while addressing the requirements of future generations.
  • Assess and facilitate the installation of appropriate infrastructure such as renewable energy systems, water purification and preservation, irrigation and sewage.
  • Provide educational resources to develop & highlight individual strengths; enabling communities to shape their own lives and the world around them.
  • Train local people to implement project installations as new materials and resources become available.
  • Support new and existing local businesses to become self sustainable, generate income & recycle it back into the community.
  • RoH preserves and respects local identity, cultures and religions and also supports inter cultural communication.
